Accursed Witchbreed Banshee Work in Progress.

When the Savage Worlds setting Accursed came out, I jumped straight to the "races" section.  I saw the usual choices, The Golems, Dhampirs, Shades, and others.  My tastes have always been draw to the lesser known supernatural creatures.  I have always liked the Banshee, from its background to its depiction and look.  The Creation of these beings started a Rift between the Hecate and Morrigan.  This is my attempt to make a Witchbreed
Witchbreed Package
All Banshees gain the following racial package:


  • Darkvision: No vision penalties for darkness (range 12"). 
  • Wail: Opposed Spirit roll vs all living targets within 6", inflicts 2d10 sonic damage, +d6 on a raise
  • Undead: +2 Toughness, +2 to recover from Shaken, ignore wound modifiers, disease, poison, and extra damage from called shots.
  • Flight: Flying Pace of 9" and Climb 3.
  • Weakness: Powerless in bright sunlight.
  • Terror: Make a Spirit roll or suffer a level of Fatigue.
  • Amháin a bheidh bás - The Banshee is a harbinger of death, if a dying target is saved the Banshee takes a point of fatigue.  

Racial Banshee Edges 

Shattering Scream 
Requirements: Novice, Banshee 
Non-living materials have the toughness halved. 

Screaming Shot 
Requirements: Seasoned, Banshee
While the Banshee is Humming people in a Medium Burst Template act as affected by the Bad Ears Hindrance for 1d6 rounds.

Disorienting Dissonance 
Requirements: Seasoned, Banshee
While the Banshee has Dissonance activated, people in a Medium Burst Template act as affected by the Confusion Power. 

Hypnotic Howl
 
Requirements: Veteran, Banshee
While the Banshee is Howling, targets in a Medium Burst Template act as effected by the Puppet Power.
