I have been trying to find a special unconventional place to set my next Rippers adventure. I had always wanted to look more into the "Dark" Continent, Africa. I use the adjective of the time as "Dark" alluded to the mystery of the land and complexion of the people. I have decided to use to novels for my foundation Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness and Michael Crichton's Congo. Weird tales and Rumors of riches make this area ideal for stories.
